MARY LINDSAY HOMESTEAD

Adjacent to the Mary Lindsay Homestead community centre, this public open space was designed to support the young families living nearby and visiting the Yanchep beaches. The playground features a boat theme, and is supported by a range of Exteria shelters, furniture, drink fountains and BBQs for the community to use while the young ones hit the playground.

CORROSION RESISTANCE A KEY CONSIDERATION

The City of Wanneroo knew that in a coastal location like this, resistance to long term corrosion was an important consideration. We proposed a collection of shelters and furniture constructed from corrosion resistant aluminium and stainless steel to ensure the park looks great many years into the future.
