The Mambray Creek campground in South Australia underwent a significant $2.5M upgrade to enhance the camping experience without compromising its charm. Located in Mount Remarkable National Park and attracting approximately 11,000 bookings annually, the site required rejuvenation due to its aging amenities.
How we helped
In partnership with the South Australian Department for Environment and Water, we installed two custom Double Skillion Shelters with accessible toilet & shower blocks and a separate facility for day visitors, seamlessly blending with the forest environment while ensuring durability. Key features included “wood look” louvre slats for a natural aesthetic and easy maintenance, as well as Solar Lighting Kits and LED lights to minimise energy consumption.
